Rosemary's in Las Vegas - Better service than Michelin Star Restaurants

Rosemary's is highly recommended on the Chow and eG forums and I'll admit I saw it on a Rachael Ray episode. If you check out Rosemary's website they list all of their promotions, I printed a $23 prix fixe lunch coupon (Regular $28)

The food is above average and the service is outstanding. I'm in the service industry and I don't understand why it is so hard to find good service. The host greets with a smile, pulls the chair out and places the linen napkin on your lap. The server is polite, addressing me as "Miss" and light conversation. The table is cleaned after each plate and water glasses are filled. When I returned from the bathroom (a touch of detail is the personalized heavy duty paper towels) my server was waiting for me at the table. The host opened the door for us as we leave this great lunch experience. It's been a very loooong time I tipped someone a well deserved 30%.

The $23 prix fixe includes everything on the menu with no $ substitutions. The Maytag blue cheese beef carpaccio was excellent. I liked it better than my Kobe carcappcio from Brand Steakhouse. The blue cheese is wrapped into the beef and paper thinly sliced. I was worried the blue cheese may overpower my palate but it was subtle and delicious.

Another stand out was the hazelnut goat cheese cheesecake. I'm not a fan of goat cheese because of the STRONG aftertaste but I savored every bite. The goat cheese is very light with a fragrant aftertaste, I wanted to finished my dessert but I was too full. If I lived in Las Vegas I would eat at Rosemary's at least once a month.

I was told the owners are a husband and wife team. The husband's name is "Michael Jordan" and they all make fun of him. The husband and wife should be restaurant consultants because they do an awesome job of training their staff.
