#94 Dona Tere Cart - The Big 100 Eat

If driving, two people are needed to make a trip to Dona Tere's cart. There is absolutely no where to park or space to illegally double park. Even the curb is hogged by the blue spray painted truck which belongs to Dona Tere. The blue tarp stand is located next to a convenient store with a sweet lady behind the cart. She greeted us with a smile and took our order, she prepared our food with a smile the whole time.

The Mango Chili is a whole mango pre-sliced in a Ziploc bag and then dressed when ready. Dona squirted bottle lemon juice, sprinkled sugar and chili powder on the fresh firm mango. The lemon juice is overpowering on the first bite then the sweetness counteracts the sourness and a tiny burning sensation from the spiciness.

Dona Tere Cart in San Francisco - Elotes The elotes is a huge steaming hot sweet corn painted with mayonnaise, rolled in canned Parmesan cheese and then sprinkled with chili powder. I torn up the elotes with pieces of kernel stuck in between my teeth.

That spicy mango can be pretty easily found in LA. It's surpringly pretty good, even though I wasn't too sure on trying mango w/chili powder.
