The $7.95 (a good bargain) pulled pork sandwich is served with your choice of one homemade side. I choose grilled corn (a whole blackened with grill marks too!) The pulled pork is smothered with their homemade BBQ sauce and shredded nicely with some chunks, topped with vinegar-dressed purple and green coleslaw. The sandwich is grilled sourdough ciabatta I wish they would hollow out some of the dough.
I also ordered the $9.95 1/4 rack baby back ribs including two sides and a mini corn bread. I choose garlic fries and mac n cheese. The baby back ribs are very smoky! It’s the first thing that hit your nostrils when biting into them. They also have extra condiments of Asian BBQ sauce: lots of garlic, ginger and soy, and Sweet Spicy BBQ: exactly like the description. Sweet. Spicy. The garlic fries had pieces of fresh garlic and very crispy, the mac n cheese was thick and more creamy than cheesy.

Roadside BBQ’s value and baby back ribs are excellent and I will be back to try more items off the menu. To compare: Nate’s BBQ is horrible and almost $20 for a combo plate. I haven’t tried the famous Gorilla BBQ featured on Triple D yet but the combo plates are also about $20.
