I like to use the pickled salty plums, others may prefer the dried plums. They are widely available in the Asian Supermarkets.
2-3 salty plums
Sugar (as much or little as you like)
Mineral water (7up or Sprite if you want it sweeter)
Lightly crush the plums with the sugar and fill the mineral water to the top.
It really makes a sore throat feel better. A remedy I will surely pass onto my future children.
