Wine, Cheese Platter and Charcuterie for Masquerade Party

Masquerade Mask and Pinot Noir Night
Why wait until Halloween to have a theme party? I like to make it fun and simple with a wine, cheese and charcuterie party. I purchased everything from Whole Foods, no cooking required, good conversation and fun photos opts for facebook with our masquerade masks.

Some of my favorites...

Procuitto de Parma, Olives, Bruchetta and Brie

  • Roasted Tomatoes and Red Pepper Topping
  • Brie
  • Varieties of Olives and Pickled Pearl Onions
  • Prosciutto de Parma

Mortadella, Salumi and Bread

  • Mortadella
  • ACME Baguette
  • Salumi

Truffle Pate, Triple Cream Cheese, Pickles and walnut bread

  • Black Pepper Pâté
  • Cornichons
  • Fromage triple-crème
  • ACME Walnut Bread

Wine, Cheese and Charcuterie Night

  • I like to serve about 4-6 ounces of meat total per person
  • 4-6 ounces of cheese total per person, 3-5 types of cheese
  • Set the cheeses outside for a few hours before serving
  • I like to use different knives for each cheese
My personal favorite wines:
  • Dancing Bull Zinfandel
  • Saracco Moscato d'Asti
  • Reggiano Lambursco
